Professional Placements: is a W.A. based and independently owned Recruiting agency. Our head office is conveniently placed on Albany Highway, Victoria Park.  We have a client base in W.A, QLD, TAS, SA and Victoria, and have been providing a friendly, hands-on & professional recruiting service since 1996.  Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds and is well equipped to handle all our clients’ and candidates’ requirements regarding working opportunities in Western Australia and Australia.

Managing Director
Our Managing director of Professional Placements recruiting agency is Vanessa van der Swaagh. Vanessa's background is diverse. She holds tertiary qualifications in Admin & Business, HR & OH&S. Vanessa has worked in the mining, transport (road & rail) and hospitality industries. She has performed a wide range of tasks within these sectors and so has an understanding of the problems faced on almost every level of a business. She has a wide contact network for additional support if needed by clients for their particular issues. Vanessa is a member of the RCSA and Australian Human Resources Institute. Most recently Vanessa was awarded the Telstra Young Business Womens Award for WA – 2008.

In January 2009 Professional Placements partnered with Workstay the traveller job agency. This partnership came about as both companies felt they complimented each other greatly with their similar work ethics and excellent reputations.  
Running the Workstay working holiday makers division is Danielle Prowse. Danielle is an extremely well travelled person who has worked in a variety of industries around WA and the world. From being a Nanny in France to Hostess in Japan, she understands the needs of travellers seeking work in a foreign country. Through working as a professional photographer Danielle has travelled Western Australia extensively and has become very knowledgeable of WA ‘s rural areas and regional work. Her excellent track record in recruitment, customer service and communication skills provides clients with an easy approach and understanding to employing travellers within their businesses.
