Darwin the capital city of the Northern Territory.


Darwin was established as a small settlement of 135 people at Port Darwin in 1869 and was called Palmerston the government changed it to Darwin in 1911and is one of the fastest growing capitals in Australia. Darwin has grown from a pioneer outpost and small port into one of Australia's most modern and multicultural cities. Darwin has been almost entirely rebuilt twice, once due to Japanese air raids during World War II and again after being devastated by Cyclone Tracy in 1974. Darwin’s main industries are Tourism and Mining.  So if you are looking for work in Darwin and surrounding area you should be able to find something that suits you.
