|About Burlington Berries
Established in 2012, Burlington Berries (Burlington) is the largest privately owned berry farm in Tasmania. Located 45 mins from Launceston and 2 hours from Hobart, they can be found just outside of the local town, Cressy. Burlington is a rapidly expanding and dynamic family-owned farm which currently has over 47 hectares of strawberries and raspberries under production!
With over 400 seasonal staff on site, from 35 different countries, Burlington is a busy place to be! Throughout the year, planting, growing, monitoring the crops and maintaining and sustaining the farm infrastructure is our focus. Come November, the crops are ready to be harvested and we will be producing perfect berries up until May.
About the Opportunity
Burlington is looking for motivated Harvest Team Supervisors to join their teams in Cressy, TAS.
Reporting to the Harvest Manager your day to day duties will include checking on the quality of fruit while it is being harvested, ensuring all pickers have what they need for the day, training new staff and ensuring there are no incidents or accidents occurring.
You will be responsible for liaising with the Growing and Harvest Managers and providing estimates on the Harvest throughput rates, quality control and make sure staff are reaching harvest KPI’s.
