Bullsbrook Strawberries Farm Looking For Pickers- 2nd Year Whv Eligible

Bullsbrook Strawberries Farm Looking For Pickers- 2nd Year Whv Eligible - ref:

Job Description

We are seeking casual workers for strawberry picking in Bullsbrook from August 2019. During the height of our season, we will require casual workers for picking and packing, and will be recruiting weekly throughout our season.

FarmWork WA Pty Ltd manages the seasonal workforce for our strawberry farm, located on Old West Rd in Bullsbrook, within 45 minutes drive of the Perth CBD or 20 minutes from Currambine train station. This work is eligible for the working holiday visa extension and all required documentation/pay slips are provided. We are not a labour hire contractor, we are the farm owners.

Working on a strawberry farm is hard work and is paid on a piece-rate basis. This gives fast, experienced workers the opportunity to earn good wages but there is no guarantee of minimum wage for slow workers. Paid in accordance with the Australian Horticultural Award. Applicants must undergo an interview and skills test before they can be accepted for the job. A site induction and training will be provided once employment has been offered and accepted.

Before you apply, be aware that workers are required to meet minimum work rates to keep their position. If you are a backpacker to sign-off your regional work requirement without doing much work, this is NOT the job for you. If you are genuinely interested in picking or packing strawberries and are willing to work hard, we welcome you.

Please register your interest as a worker at farmworkwa.com.au
