Job Description

Looking for a qualified primary or secondary teacher (overseas tertiary qualifications accepted) to work as Camp Manager at our camp in Townsville, QLD for two days, 20th and 21st January.

Hey everyone, my name is Ella and I work for a company called Code Camp.
We run school holiday coding classes for kids and are holding a camp in Townsville these Summer holidays.

I am specifically looking for a qualified primary or secondary teacher (overseas tertiary qualifications accepted) to work as Camp Manager at our camp in Townsville for two days, 20th and 21st January.

The Camp Manager is in charge of dealing with student safety and welfare, chatting to parents, lunch duty rosters, student sign in and sign out, first aid. Pay is $275/day plus super.

At Code Camp we teach kids to code and make apps. It is a great addition to your CV and hopefully a fun and rewarding experience. If interested, please email ella@codecamp.com.au with your CV and a fun introduction.

Teachers need to be super organised and are responsible for making sure the staff at the camp put their best foot forward at all times.

Qualifications

First Aid - HLTAID004 or equivalent - CPR, Asthma, Allergy + Anaphylaxis training
Tertiary Primary/Secondary Teaching degree

 
Experience & Knowledge

- Happy to motivate a small staff team
- Comfortable in dealing with parents and kids, highly organised and enthusiastic
